Apple scab disease is caused by a fungus that affects various types of ornamental trees including crabapple, apple, hawthorn, mountain ash, and pear trees.
The fungus infects your tree in the spring from the time the buds start to open till the leaf reaches maturity and appears as brown spots on the leaves during the summer months. These spots grow bigger, turning the leaves yellow, and result in premature defoliation of your tree.
This causes stress to the affected tree and if the tree encounters this disease multiple years in a row, the resulting stress can make it susceptible to other diseases and can cause your tree to die.
Apple scabs are cosmetically damaging to a landscape as they affect the beautiful flowering crabs, which are usually the focal point of the yards. Don't wait until your tree is half dead. Call us today for your free diagnosis.

Fungicide Spray: The fungicide spray is applied every 10 - 14 days, starting from the first leaf-out, until the leaf has reached full maturity. As long as the fungicide is allowed to dry on the leaf, rain does not disturb its effectiveness.
Average Cost is $65.00 per application for a single tree.

Rhizosphaera needle cast disease is killing Colorado spruce trees all over the mid-west and is quite common. This disease is easy to spot. A common sign is the interior needles turning brown and falling off.
This disease thrives in parts of your tree that receive the least sunlight and less wind, especially the bottom half of the tree. Trees under the age of fifteen don't show many signs of the disease, which are much more prominent in older trees owing to their general deteriorating health.
Trees planted close together are also at a higher risk of having Rhizosphaera. Stop this disease from damaging your trees by calling The Tree Doctors LLC today.

Fungicide Spray: The fungicide spray is applied to start from bud-break until the needles have reached maturity. We recommend three sprays in the spring while the needles are actively growing. The spray intervals are as recommended on the product label, about every 14 - 21 days. For lightly infested trees two sprays are generally sufficient.
Average Cost: $95.00 per application for 1 tree 25ft tall.
